Stretching along the northeast part of the country, at the foot of Shahdag Mountain, this ski resort is one of the most beautiful corners of the whole Caucasus. Rich and diverse nature of the region, fresh air and favorable climate gave a chance to the development of modern Shahdag tourist complex that conforms to the highest international standards. Specialists of the Italian, Swiss and Austrian companies which had earlier erected big constructions in many of the well-known European ski centers took part in its construction. Shahdag Mountain (King-Mountain) is 4 thousand meters high, and the complex itself is located at the height of 1, 5 up to 2, 4 km. Here 5 hotels (3-5*, apartments with kitchens) with the whole infrastructure of rest of “apre-ski” (after skis) are functioning. Restaurants, bars, cafe, pubs, billiard rooms, shops, conference rooms are at guests’ service. 12 elevators function in the routes of all degrees of complexity (cabins, surface and rotary lifts) and snow guns improve the quality of routes. The rent of ski stock, ski school, medical centre, and other objects function in Shahdag complex. A special “carpet path” is especially for little skiers.
